Ableton Live Tutorials: Understanding Ableton Live's Velocity Device
Hi, I’m Nemamlam
Good Explanation thanks Man
thank you very much! great export explanation. I think you speak with UK English and your accent is very clear and easy to understand for non-native😀
thank youuu!!!
I love how seriously Dave is taking this 😅 He's sweatin' the decisions 🎛🔊
Do you have a video for configuration of the external instrument? Logic doesn't seem recognize my Behringer MS-1. I don't have it as a menu option, appearing the way your Moog does here. I've got the MIDI connected, just not sure what step I'm missing. Thanks,
nice!
Damn
After I freeze and flatten how do I send the audio by wetransfer? Do you have a detailed video for this? Thanks!
Well-done!
eq the reverb before compression to make it more transparent also
People hate on Joel for his blunt honesty, but seriously... his wisdom in the business and audio engineering is unrivaled. He's not going to feed you a line. He's going to tell you how it is. And if you ask him advice, he's going to give you direct advice without the sugar coating. And he knows more than 80% of the other producers going when it comes to engineering sound. He knows what he's talking about. always.
Amazing video, thanks so much for this, big time DAW user, new to Ableton and this is yet another great example of how this approach can create new textures and help to break writers block!
Thank you so much!!!
have never really worried about the arpeggiator fx, but have reason now to mess with some ideas. damn good presentation here.
thank you that was just what i needed, much appreciated :)
This is great,, does anyone know if stuff like a drum machine (lest say tr8) can be recorded using a external instrument for each perc at the same time? Lest say for example one for the kick and one for the snare at the same time on separate channels ..
I love Joel's brutal honesty. Faxing Berlin is a masterpiece, such a gentle, subtle beauty.
Its you in another skin!!
Have you got any idea how can I map different variations from different rack effects macros to tha same button at a midi controller or a foot switch for a total effect reset? And first of all if this function exists. Thank you!
thank
I like how you explain everything. Great job
great video, thanks so much!
thank you
Why does this clip look like a 80s movie style?
Whos the other guy ?
Very helpful. Question: Is there a way to EQ a small range of a track or event, without applying it to the entire event? Can I avoid cutting the range into a new event for that purpose by instead selecting the range with the range tool, and then … what's next?
Very helpful and well explained as always Jono!
0:59 fU?
I'm trying to program 'Greensleeves' in 'Online Sequencer'. This is why I really needed this lesson and the explanation of what 'Legatomize' does! I mean - my Greensleeves is still rubbish... But now I understand a little about why.
I was looking for how to do this within Ableton since I've been using Kontakt and was curious how it works.
Deadmau5 forever
Hahaha 50 percent off hilarious 😢😅
Yeah it's true labels can increase your visibility and give you marketing, but it's a business like any other. I'm sure some bands wouldn't have made it without them, but your earnings are always reduced. Question is what does it take to make more without them? It's kind of a gamble, and have to know when to cash out.
Great tutorial👏👏👏
Thank you for this very useful video ❤
Doesn't work for me... I swear it seems like ableton only has 1-4 but doesn't differentiate between inputs and outputs
No. 1 reason why we started our own label. No one has ever heard of us , we have no following , just determined about our careers and worth . It’s just about rolling a little bit now but , all along , it was - no - let’s keep ownership over everything we do .
All that just for that lol. This is just bad cook. A good envelop, a good delay that's all you need to PLAY good music. PLAY ! Don't COOK !
Is that kaskade?
Thank you so much for your help!
This video is great! You've really helped me understand this feature I needed for a uni assignment! Thank you for sharing! :)
THANK U 💯💯💯💯
Thanks for the in depth teaching. Very appreciated the practical hands on, instead of theoretic Blabla.
the fact that this has only 600 likes is crazy 21k people got nothing out of this?
Could be Wallapop, that second-hand market place in Europe? Or there's milanuncios but that always seemed a bit sketchy.
salad fingers!!!
🖤🖤
Thanks!
❤
